Few Home Remedies for a Tooth Abscess

In this article, I will share a few recommended Home remedies for abscessed teeth but before applying any remedy you should consult With an Orthodontist to get rid of this problem. First of all, you should rinse your mouth with the saltwater that would be very helpful to relieve the discomfort caused by infection.

To use this remedy mix normal table salt with the warm water. Rinse your mouth and try to switch for at least two minutes and then spit the water out. You can also use Backing soda for the removal of Plaque in your mouth. For this remedy mix half tablespoon of baking soda with ½ cup of water and salt. Switch the mixture and split out. Repeat this process until you have finished the mixture.

Make a Ginger – cayenne Paste by mixing equal parts of both items with enough water. Roll a cotton ball into the place then place it into your mouth then place it on your tooth by avoiding the area of your tongue.

You can also use Peppermint tea by putting a teaspoon dried peppermint leaves in the boiling water and steep it for at least fifteen minutes. You have to use this material in the swollen area to reduce the toothache and swelling. A cold compress is also a useful method to reduce pain and swelling. To use this remedy you can place the ice cubes in the dry towel.

You need to hold the compress near the infected areas and use this process for fifteen minutes intervals. Repeat this process multiple times per day. Thyme essential oil is also one of the most popular remedies that can be very helpful to fight against bacteria and reduce swelling.
